(1)Branch Operations Manager - We are seeking an experienced Director of Operations/Branch Manager to lead our corporate owned office/division in Hayward, California.

In this vital Executive Leadership role, you will oversee the sales, marketing, operations, business development and overall direction of our growing Northern California office. You will oversee all internal operations, including sales and marketing, client relationship management, project estimating, project management, technical operations, and office administration. You will manage the branch with the authority and autonomy granted to you by the corporate office, with an overarching goal of exceeding all performance objectives for revenue and profitability.

Job Responsibilities

As a Branch Manager/ Director of Operations you will manage 8+ internal employees towards the successful achievement of job profitability and revenue goals. You will direct all sales and marketing efforts in your location. You will conduct regular visits to current and potential clients with the purpose of building upon client company relationships resulting in the generation of new work in the branch. You will hire, manage, and lead field technicians and be on client site as needed.

Other responsibilities of the Business Management role include:

  • - Ensuring that all work and projects are administrated at the highest level of compliance
  • - Receiving and carrying out direction from corporate on all legal and HR issues
  • - Training, equipping and developing the branch personnel in their respective positions
  • - Utilizing personal development plans and properly documenting regular reviews
  • - Interpreting and understanding all reports, and utilizing them to train and equip teams
  • - Working in conjunction with all other corporate entities as well as Franchisee's
  • - Ensuring that working relationships remain positive and communication lines open
  • - Providing written and oral status reports on all branch operations
  • - Identifying performance gaps and mobilizing efforts to close them
  • - Attending all regularly scheduled meetings called by corporate
  • - Supporting corporate in its initiatives for branch success

Job Requirements

As a Branch Manager, you must be a dynamic leader with exceptional communication skills, which equip you to interact successfully with your team, clientele, and the community. You must be a problem solver who knows how to prioritize efficiently. We are seeking a sales and business development focused professional who can visualize and capitalize on future success. Qualified candidates have an estimating background (preferably in a construction, remediation, bio-hazard industry) and the experience necessary to manage 8+ internal employees. Our ideal candidate is a Business Entrepreneur with strategic operations experience developing and growing a business.

Desired Skills and Experience

Other requirements of the Management role include:
  • - Bachelor's Degree in Business or related field, or equivalent experience
  • - At least 5 years of operations experience in the construction, remediation, bio-hazard industry
  • - 5 years of internal management experience
  • - Previous experience managing a Division or Branch
  • - Experience with estimating and handling contracts
  • - Commercial construction background, preferred
  • - Sales and Marketing, Business Development experience, preferred
  • - Experience in the remediation industry, a plus
  • - Excellent computer skills
  • - MS-Excel, Word, Outlook, Power Point, and Quickbooks
  • - Experience with Salesforce, a plus
  • - Must be able to work more than 40 hours a week and is available on-call when required
